I got a new 3D printer (Elegoo Mars) and have been very excited to try it out. Here's my first batch of models - these STL files are from Lost Kingdom miniatures.
After playing around with a bunch of settings (and a bunch of failed prints), I've landed on the following settings:
ABS-like resin (tougher than the standard resin, less likely to snap)
8s exposure, 80s for base (original settings were 6/50)
I use the standard "light" supports in chitubox but generally run through the model after they are generated and add a few more to all over-hanging features. I prefer the light ones as they are much easier to snap and cut off than the larger sizes and so far leave no marks.
After rinsing the print in alcohol, I put it in a tub of water and put it outside in the sun for 15 minutes. Then I cut off the supports and put it back outside (no water) for another 15 minutes. If it's a cloudy day, I'll leave it longer.
Overall, I think the quality is ~90% of production casts which is more than good enough given the flexibility you have to make what you want. It's been a very fun toy, but it is a time consuming process.

And because of the fumes associated with resin (and to have a space to clean up), I built a shelf out of plywood/lumber which helped to make a perfectly stable and level surface to print on. Then I used plywood and foil tape to make a fume hood, and added a cheap fan off Amazon to vent it outside. I use a sheet of melamine to cover the opening when printing.
